Thriller author Sean Lynch has republished his book Wounded Prey, given it a dark and moody new cover. He is also to release three further books in the Farrell and Kearns series in the next month or so.
Wounded Prey first came out through Exhibit A Books two years ago but has now had a bit of a facelift. Inside you’ll meet retired San Francisco police detective Bob Farrell and a young Iowa cop called Kevin Kearns. Together they investigate the disappearance and subsequent murder of a school girl whose body is found hanging from a tree. As they hunt the killer across America, their methods draw the attention of the FBI and it becomes a chase of double intrigue.
This will be followed by The Fourth Motive – about their hunt for a deranged stalker who is targeting the daughter of a judge – and then by Officer Involved in which Kearns’ own family is in jeopardy. You can see the cover for the Fourth Motive from 10 March, and Officer Involved will be revealed on 18 March. Watch this space.
Lynch’s work brings together hardboiled crime with a touch of horror and even a bit of a Western feel, and has been praised by the likes of Emlyn Rees and Russel D McLean.
Wounded Prey can be ordered here on Amazon starting at £3.24 for the Kindle edition.
