Harry Bosch returns to Amazon with season 3

1 Mins read

They’ve already inked the deal for a fourth season of Bosch on Amazon Prime Video – now season 3 is just around the corner. It’ll make its debut on 21 April, and we’ve got the trailer for you right here to whet your appetite, along with a set of great press stills (see below).

Author Michael Connelly made the big reveal yesterday on his website. The 10 episodes take elements from The Black Echo and A Darkness More Than Night, which highlight two very different sides to Bosch. Connelly said: “In The Black Echo, he is driven and feels duty bound in finding the killer of a fellow Special Forces soldier. He also connects to a young runaway named Sharkey. Then with A Darkness More Than Night you see a more desperate Bosch, a man who thinks the system is broken and doesn’t protect the vulnerable. It gets to him and makes others question if he is okay.

“I think we keep raising the bar in terms of digging into character. Harry is definitely more conflicted in season 3 because he has come to question the very system he is a part of. He carries a gun and a badge and is a representative of the state. But he questions the validity of the state,” he added.

Bosch is now Amazon Prime Video’s longest-running original drama series. Six writers have already begun the work of adapting Angels Flight into the storyline for series 4.
