Welcome to New Talent November 2013

Today we begin our third annual celebration of new blood in crime fiction – New Talent November. We hope you’ll enjoy it and we hope it’s still as fresh as it was when we first brought you debut authors, rising stars and the best of the self-published and indie side of the genre.

In the past, we’ve spoken to authors like Kerry Wilkinson, Anya Lipska, Nick Quantrill, David Mark, Malcolm McKay and many more top authors. This year we’ll introduce you to the work of award-winning debut writer Roger Hobbs, as well as southern pulpster CJ Howell, and Britain’s own Alistair Gunn. (It obviously helps to have double consonants in your surname.) Our offering will include interviews and reviews. Former Crime Fiction Lover contributor Luca Veste will be along to tell us about his debut novel Dead Gone as well.

This year we’ll also have a top 10 listing of debuts that have been reviewed on Crime Fiction Lover – so youll get some fine recommendations in time for Christmas, which support up and coming authors.

If you love crime fiction like we do, please get behind us this month. The whole idea is to promote and push to the fore new authors who will keep the genre vibrant in years to come. Whether they’re publishing digitally, or in print, whether they’ve been picked up by big publishers or are doing it all themselves – that doesn’t matter to us. We just want to read great crime!
