Underground Book Club launches!

1 Mins read

Look out for this man or someone like him if you’re a crime fiction lover who’ll be commuting via London, Oxford or Reading tomorrow morning (16 April). A new venture called Underground Book Club will be handing out their free magazine and inside you’ll find samples from three top books to read during your train or Tube journey.

For crime and mystery fans, issue one includes free chapters from Catch Your Death, the book that went to number one on the UK Kindle crime charts last summer, written by Mark Edwards and Louise Voss. It’s been revamped taking into account feedback, such as the review published here on Crime Fiction Lover, for its republication by HarperCollins. We think it’s a fantastic choice for the first issue of Underground Book Club. You can read an interview with the authors here.

The other two titles included are Life! Death! Prizes! by Stephen May and The Midwife of Venice by Roberta Rich. Watch for Underground Book Club distributors in the following stations tomorrow morning: Paddington, Waterloo, Dalston Junction, Kings Cross, Euston, Reading and Oxford. In the afternoon you’ll be able to get a copy at Waterloo, London Bridge, Kings Cross and Euston. Tell them you read about it on Crime Fiction Lover.

If you do grab a copy look out for our full page ad. As a partner of the project three reviews by our writers have appeard in issue one. Let us know what you think of the magazine by posting a comment below. You can visit the UBC website here.
