First up, for the next few days, you can get both of Zach Fortier’s hardboiled crime books free from Amazon. Curb Chek was his first, and it was followed by Street Creds last year. Fortier was a police officer for 28 years and during that time he investigated gangs, sex crimes and domestic violence, participating in K-9 and SWAT operations. He’s taken his experiences and turned them into crime stories, releasing his books as an independent author. The writing is raw and authentic, in Fortier’s own voice. He’s seen the criminal world up close, and it shows.
Secondly, Mysterious Press are giving away a free short story by Jack O’Connell to everyone who signs up for their newsletter.
