The Postscript Murders

1 Mins read
The Postscript Murders by Elly Griffiths front cover

Elly Griffiths leaves Dr Ruth Galloway behind for a novel that will keep you guessing – and, at times, giggling. It also features a character you may have met before, DS Harbinder Kaur, who appeared in The Stranger Diaries. This time Kaur’s interest is piqued by the death of a 90-year-old woman who lived in a seafront flat in Sussex. At first Peggy Smith’s demise looks like natural causes, but there’s something off. And as Kaur digs deeper, helped (or should that be hindered?) by a trio of would-be sleuths, it becomes clear that Peggy wasn’t the doddery old dear she made herself out to be. A joy to read, and the scenes that take place at a book festival are inspired!
