Initially Tokyo’s Metropolitan Police suspect a connection with the murders of sex workers in an area nearby, but as more bodies with no clear connection are found, their theory is disproved. What positions Unknown Male on the high-end of the creepiness scale is a glimpse into the unsettling psyche of a killer. It’s a dark tale full of twists and turns perfectly set in a hostile city.
