Conviction

1 Mins read
Conviction, Denise Mina

A true crime podcast becomes the spur for Anna and Fin – discarded by their respective spouses who run away together – to investigate the mysterious sinking of the yacht Dana off the coast of France. In Anna, Denise Mina has created a feisty, entertaining, and witty tour guide, as the hapless couple’s adventures take them across Europe. Their itinerary may be cobbled together, but, ominously, someone is else is following it… and them. Anna fears it’s her nemesis, the football team owner whose players raped her, and as narrator Anna says, “I ruined my life by telling the truth.” She’s been living a lie ever since. Never dull and a lot of fun!
