The Last Act

1 Mins read

In a book inspired by outrageous real-life events, Brad Parks constructs a tension-filled, highly entertaining scenario in which FBI agents recruit aging child star Tommy Jump to portray a felon at a minimum security federal prison and befriend one of the prisoners. As a banking executive, Mitchell Dupree helped a Mexican drug cartel launder more than a billion dollars and has hidden away evidence that could destroy the gang. The FBI wants that evidence. The cartel does too. But it’s Dupree’s insurance policy, and he’s revealing nothing. Tommy has to discover Dupree’s hiding place, with agonising twists in store. Read our full review here.
