So this is a special week here in On the Radar because four of the five writers we feature today have never appeared on the site before.
Eighty per cent fresh blood, if you will… Nice.
Let’s get things rolling with a legal eagle from Scotland. There’s also crime fiction set in Ireland, something historical and a couple of really quite intriguing contemporary thrillers.
Relatively Guilty by William McIntyre

Fans of legal thrillers à la John Grisham, Steve Cavanagh or Michael Connelly take note – 18 June sees the arrival of a Scottish contender in the shape of Relatively Guilty by William McIntyre. It all looks cut and dried after a policeman is found dead, his head caved in and his young wife by his side, clutching the murder weapon. But her lawyer Robbie Munro isn’t convinced, and he sets out to prove his client is innocent. The only trouble is, she isn’t interested – and the closer Robbie gets to an acquittal, the more she pushes for a life sentence. How can he get through to someone who would rather be convicted than forgiven? This is first in a series of 17 novels featuring Robbie Munro, which have been a huge hit as ebooks and are now available in print from Vinci Books.
