Shazoweee! Look what just arrived at Crime Fiction Lover Towers…

Hide and Seek is an upcoming standalone thriller from Chris Carter. We know that people who read our site love this author, so here’s a quick look at what this book has to offer.

Unlike the Robert Hunter series, which focuses catching serial killers, this leans more towards domestic noir. It begins with a woman, Sam Stewart, who takes her abusive husband to court. Escaping her dangerous marriage, she takes on a new identity and moves across the US.

Trouble is, wherever she hides, her nasty ex husband, Nelson, has the means to seek her out, even from his prison cell.

“I’ll be coming for you. No matter how long it takes.”

Eeek. The thrills land on 16 July. That’s a bit of a wait, but watch for our review closer to the time.
