Great news. We’ve recruited a fine new contributor to CFL who is based in the Big Apple. Jeremy Megraw joins our team and brings with him the ultimate credibility when it comes to being a crime fiction lover. He works in a library! Yes – at the New York Public Library – and one thing that brought him to our attention was this informative piece on Scandinavian crime fiction. We love the line, “You know you have no life when the serial killer you’re hunting chides you about your cholesterol.”
Jeremy also enjoys hardboiled from every corner of the world, including classic American noir like Raymond Chandler, Jim Thompson and Dashiell Hammett. “I’m a fan of the Dr Siri Paiboun series by Colin Cotterill. One of my favorites in recent years is Iain Pear’s An Instance of the Fingerpost,” he says.
Please join us in welcoming him to the team.
