Time for some news on the Crime Fiction Lover team. We’re pleased to announce the arrival of two new writers for our site – Lucy Conlon and Sandra Mangan, aka DeathBecomesHer.
Sandra is an experience journalist who’s worked for the Press Association and newspapers and magazines around the UK. But her true passion is crime fiction and from her current base in Ireland she’s already reviewed Cathi Unsworth’s Weirdo here on our site. Favourite authors for DeathBecomesHer include Ian Rankin, Elizabeth George, Val McDermid, Jeffrey Deaver and Lee Childs. Just the sort of thing we like to hear from a new writer!
With a BA in history from Sussex University and a masters from the University of Sydney in Australia, Lucy Conlon is in her 20s and works in publishing. She’s been a fan of our site for a while and has now joined our crew. Her first review is live on the site – First Cut by Ali Knight. Amongst her favourite authors are Michael Connelly, Linwood Barclay and Tess Gerritsen. Naturally, her number one genre is crime fiction.
Please join us in a big welcome to Sandra and Lucy.
At the same time, we’re bidding farewell to Luca Veste – aka guiltyconscience. We’re sad to see him move on but thank him for his tremendous contribution to Crime Fiction Lover which goes back to the earliest days of the website. We also wish him every success with his own crime fiction writing, and look forward to perhaps reviewing one of his books here on the site.
