Blue Night

1 Mins read

Simone Buchholz’s Blue Night was a book we loved earlier this year and is one you will love too. When Chastity Riley is assigned the dull job of watching over a nameless man lying in a hospital bed outside Hamburg, things aren’t as boring and straightforward as they seem. The man’s case seems to be linked to something bigger stirring beneath the surface of the city. The form of this novel is unique, the author uses every other chapter to give us small, fragmentary snippets of first-person narrative from all the characters in the novel. Be prepared – the second half of this book is great and will keep you up into the night turning pages. Read our full review here.
