Video: Arne Dahl talks about Watching You

1 Mins read

The Killing. Hinterland. The Bridge. Trapped. Most crime shows have a slightly foreboding title. But when the Swedes decided to base a TB series on Arne Dahl’s Intercrime novels, they simply named it after the author. Maybe you watched it on BBCFour? Perhaps you’ve read the books as well.

Now the author with a TV series in his own name is back, and he’s started a new series that features a dogged detective called Sam Berger as well as a new kind of storytelling. It looks like Watching You is heading for the TV screens as well, and it’s certainly written with a cinematic eye. We reviewed the book recently, and we’ve also participated in a series of video interviews with the author himself. You can watch his answers to our questions below.

Plus, on Saturday 8 July 2017, UK readers will be able to win Watching You as part of a Nordic noir bundle we’re giving away on our Facebook page.

Anyhow, let’s get on with that interview…
