We’ve just posted a new video on our YouTube channel Video Evidence, which we’re super proud of. In it, you can watch five indie crime authors from different places reading from their latest novels.
We’ve got the Canadian author Anthony Bidulka reading from his PI mystery, QUANT. Tina Henry from Ireland reads from her revenge thriller, Killer Smile. Over in New Orleans, Louisiana, Nola Triad joins us with the Neo-noir novel, Bayou Savages. Meanwhile, up in New England, filmmaker Kate Kaminski shares I am Danvers with us. Last but not least, Damiano Polcaro reads from Karma, a hardboiled novel set in London. Watch them all below!
Now, we do love all our friends at Penguin Random House, Bloomsbury, Hachette, HarperCollins and the like. But the big corporate way isn’t the only way, and crime fiction always needs fresh ideas, new voices and different takes. It keeps the genre alive, adaptive, exciting. That’s why we think it’s important to introduce you to indie authors like this.
