First look: Minky Woodcock – The Girl Called Cthulhu

1 Mins read

Watch the video: The third graphic novel in this stunning series by Cynthia von Buhler has arrived here at CFL Towers and instead of doing loads of photos and a write-up, we decided to go one better and bring you a little video about it.

Don’t worry, there are no spoilers. And hopefully you’ll get a good idea of what this story is all about, as well as the incredible creativity that has gone into it – principally from the author Cynthia von Buhler, who has also created all the internal artwork. It’s not just a book, it’s an experience.

Essentially, it begins as a case for private detective Minky Woodcock – to try and exonerate the occultist Aleister Crowley after the murder of one of his disciples. HP Lovecraft is in the mix, and he and his wife nearly become victims. There’s lots of action, mysticism, mystery and perhaps even a bit of espionage.

Anyway, go ahead and watch our video. If you like it and you’re on YouTube, please subscribe to our channel and help us grow. We’ll try and improve, and bring you more videos about crime fiction and the crime fiction lovin’ lifestyle.

The graphic novel comes out 8 July. If you’re thinking of buying it, please support our site by using one of the links below:
