3 Mins read

Welcome back! We’ve got some good news. Simon McCleave, one of the UK’s most popular crime authors, is returning this month and starting a new series set in his favourite part of the country – Snowdonia in North Wales. The ancient mountain is a great place to start your crime fiction journey, with stops in South Africa and Argentina, then back to the UK for a high-octane thriller and a new take on one of Arthur Conan Doyle’s most interesting characters, Mrs Hudson.

Fans of the popular crime writer Simon McCleave will be pleased to hear that he has created a new character – and the first in the series featuring former detective Frank Marshal arrives for Kindle on 20 February. These days, Marshal divides his time between working as a park ranger in Snowdonia and caring for his wife, who has dementia, but when an old friend asks him for help to locate her missing sister, he agrees. It’s a decision that leads Marshal along on a road that leads back to a series of murders in North Wales in the 1990s – and a possible miscarriage of justice.
