Some of the biggest names from the world of comics are involved, including Alan Moore, Dave McKean and Neil Gaiman. Even Alexei Sayle is in there, with writers paired with different artists – words and pictures working in collaboration to tell these short stories. “Here we see a city of looming towers, shadowy embankments and subterranean sleaze; of public bars and private vices; of huckster artists, strippers, vandals, thugs and addicts,” proclaims the release.
