Kill Your Boss

In addition to a title that’s hard to resist, Kill Your Boss has an excellent premise behind it. What if a hired killer could nestle within a company as an unpaid intern, biding his time until the right moment arrives to execute a high-paid executive? Well, John Lago has just such a job and has eliminated 34 previous bosses. This time, he’s in an upscale Manhattan law firm performing a hit because one of the partners is selling out FBI secret agents. So far so modern pulp, but Lago also has a whole load of personal baggage to deal with that adds a certain amount of depth to the book. If you’re a crime fiction lover looking for a pacy page-turner that sticks a big needle into the bubble of big business until it goes POP then this is the novel for you. Read our review here. The US title is The Intern’s Handbook.
