WIN Scarecrow and the Army of Thieves

1 Mins read

Looking for some hot summer action? Enter our summer reading competition and you could lay your hands on the latest action thriller by Matthew Reilly, Scarecrow and the Army of Thieves.

Scarecrow is the codename for a crack team led by an ex-marine called Schofield, and their task is to wrest Dragon Island from a band of deadly terrorists – the Army of Thieves. Located in the Arctic, the island is a former Soviet base and home to a weapon that could destroy humanity. Scarecrow don’t have the numbers or the firepower to really take on their foe, but they’re the only unit close enough to move on the Army of Theives in time.

Yes, it’s a bit more of an action thriller than the usual crime thrillers we feature here on Crime Fiction Lover, but if you love fast-paced action all the signs are that Scarecrow and the Army of Thieves has it in buckets. The book has just been released and follows on from the novel Scarecrow in 2003, and 1998’s Ice Station where Scarecrow first appeared. Ice Station put Reilly on the map and has been published in 15 countries.

We’ve got 10 – yes TEN – copies to give away to our readers thanks to the book’s publisher Orion.
