Watch The Prague Coup video trailer

1 Mins read

Today Crime Fiction Lover brings you an exclusive first look at The Prague Coup, the new espionage graphic novel written by Jean-Luc Fromental, illustrated by Miles Hyman and published by Hard Case Crime and Titan Comics.

If you loved 1949 film The Third Man, written by Graham Greene and starring Orson Welles, this graphic novel is bound to grab your attention. Greene is researching and writing in bombed out Vienna, a city occupied by British, American, French and Russian forces. But really it’s a city desperate and out of control, run more by black marketeers and shadowy agents, each with their own agenda.

In amongst this, just like the film’s lead character, Greene becomes involved in a relationship complicated by secrets, spies, murder and a plot that reaches across Eastern Europe.

Watch the video as the creators of this new graphic novel talk about their inspiration, and take in Hyman’s wonderfully shaded, slightly art nouveau styled artwork, which captures the atmosphere. The hardcover graphic novel goes on sale today.
