The Snowman

1 Mins read

Hailing Nesbo as the new Stieg Larsson, the sticker on the cover does this Norwegian writer something of a disservice. He’s a skilled scribe in his own right and presents his plotlines and characters – in this case Oslo detective Harry Hole and the serial killer he’s tracking – with subtlety. The Snowman is full of detail for you to consider. Were those boot prints in the snow, important, and what about the chicken blood? Trying to work out what’s really going on while the killer keeps shifting about just over the horizon is what pulls you through this book. You’ll probably want to read it again when you’re done.
