Louisa Guy is caught in a snow storm while out looking for her dead partner’s missing son. Hypothermia will turn out to be the least of her worries since a kill team has also been dispatched to find the missing boy after he witnessed a minor royal behaving badly.
Enter then, the slow horses, in another desperate mission to avert catastrophe. Perfectly rendered themes of connection and loss makes this the strongest book in what is already a multi-award winning series. Be warned though, not everybody will be coming back. Read our full review here.
