Inside, you’ll find a 17-page special feature dedicated to the grand dame of British crime, Agatha Christie. It takes in a new film adaptation of Murder on the Orient Express with Kenneth Branagh, Miss Marple, Sophie Hannah’s upcoming Poirot novel Closed Casket, David Suchet’s Poirot, Antony Horowitz’s Magpie Murders (an homage to Christie)… and the new theatre production of The Mousetrap.

For those looking for more contemporary flavours, there’s a six-pager looking at the excellent BBC production The Fall, with Gillian Anderson who faces off in the third series against the ultra creepy serial killer played by Jamie Dornan. The magazine’s packed with features – mainly to do with TV shows – including DCI Banks, Making a Murderer, Rectify, Gomorrah, and more. If you liked Tom Cruise’s rendition of Jack Reacher for the big screen, the good news is there’s a sequel on the way in the form of Never Go Back, which is covered in Crime Scene.

Bookworm crime lovers don’t get quite as much to cheer about however there is an in-depth interview with Michael Connelly by journalist Jonathan Wright, who asks him about the Amazon Prime Video adaptation of the Bosch series as well as his upcoming new novel The Wrong Side of Goodbye, out on 18 October.
