The Age of Treachery

ageoftreachery300Gavin Scott’s historical crime thriller takes us back to post-WWII Britain where former operative Duncan Forrester is enjoying his new life reading ancient history at Oxford. One night, during the reading of a Viking saga, there’s a huge crash and a man is found dead in the courtyard. Forrester’s skills come in handy as he steps in to try and solve the mystery which may involve academic bitterness and the discovery of a long lost saga, while great writers like CS Lewis and JRR Tolkien are woven into the tale deftly. It really is an ingenious old school mystery! Read the full review here.
