Ever fancied following in the footsteps of Sweden’s finest detective, Kurt Wallander? Well now you can, thanks to a new iPhone and Andriod app from the detective’s creator Henning Mankell.
The free app called, rather literally, In The Steps of Kurt Wallander, shows you the sights of the detective’s hometown, Ystad, including his favourite café where you can order a beer and a herring sandwich.
The app also guides you around crucial locations from some of the finest Wallander novels, including the manor home of the Edengren family and the beach haven of Nybrostrand from One Step Behind.
